"My month in Cuenca, Ecuador was irreplaceable.
The shelter, Casa de Maria Amor, opened my eyes to what these women

"I also want to give a huge thanks to everyone
at Cosmic Volunteers. It couldn’t have been possible (obviously)
without your help. And to Scott, thank you also, for taking my phone
calls even when I was stressing. :]. So all in all, it was absolutely
wonderful. It meant so much to me and I truly will never forget
my time in Ghana. And actually, I’m hoping to be returning
to you all next summer with my sister! More...

Laura Buck (USA)
Orphanage Volunteer in Nairobi, Kenya.
Laura is back from Nairobi. She had a fantastic time. This trip
turned out better than I had ever hoped for. We can't thank you
enough for all your help. What a great organization Cosmic Volunteers
is!
Luara's Coordinator Irene was the best. Thanks to both her and
you for helping Laura while she was sick. Even spending a night
in the hospital turned out to be a positive learning experience.
Laura had a lovely time staying with her host mother Monica and
the other volunteers. I can't believe how much they did in one month.
Samuel at the orphanage wrote a beautiful letter to Laura at the
end of her stay thanking her for her contributions. We were really
touched by his gratitude and sincerity. Laura plans on staying in
touch with him and trying to help the kids. She belongs to a club
at her high school that exists solely to raise money for charitable
organizations. Laura can't wait to show them pictures of the orphanage
and the awesome kids she got a chance to work with.
Scott, please feel free to use either one of us as a reference.
We are going to periodically check your web site and see what programs
you are offering throughout the world. I don't see taking regular
vacations anymore, not when you can have experiences like Laura
did this summer
in Kenya.
Thanks again, Scott,
Robin and Fred Buck

"...And that is the best thing about being a volunteer.
Having the ABSOLUTE privilege of meeting and featuring in the
lives of kids who are soldiers with huge hearts, big smiles and
endless love. [Vietnam] has been an experience and an honour that
I will never forget." More...

"All in all, this has already been an incredible experience
for me, getting to experience life in a different country while
doing something I love and am passionate about [basketball coaching].
So I can't thank you and your organization enough."
-- Bryan (Oregon)
"[My daughter Dalia] loved Ecuador and the people, saw a
lot of sites, managed to make friends and connections there and
above all she really loved working with the kids at the orphanage
and said they were very sweet and loving. I think it was a great
experience for her in terms of helping her develop independence
and self-confidence and turning her on to other cultures and travel."
