Volunteer at Single Mother's Home in Thailand
Our volunteers serve within an organization that helps single mothers
(mostly young) in crisis acquire skills and knowledge to obtain
independent self sufficiency. Volunteers assist and work alongside
the home’s staff from 8:30am – 4:30 pm (Monday –
Friday).
There are three different programs at the Single Mother's Home
(Caregiving, Gardening and Construction). Please put which program
you would like to be interested in volunteering in on your volunteer
application.
Your role as a volunteer will be to assist with caring for the
children as well as assisting with the needs of the women who live
at the home. Volunteers must be 20 years old or older and have experience
and a love for young children.
Additionally, because many of the women and children at the home
have recently suffered mistreatment/abuse from men, the Home accepts
only female volunteers for this position.
