As a high school student, you can join one of our group service learning trips abroad OR you can volunteer abroad as an individual.
Your Teachers, you are most welcome to organize a group of students for a trip abroad, and come along for free as a chaperone.
For your Parents, please have them read our Parents Page to learn about all of the safety, security and supervision we provide.
Individual programs
Our most popular programs for teens are volunteering at Orphanages in Ghana, Building Houses in Guatemala, and Wildlife Conservation in Kenya. However you can volunteer abroad year-round in any of our host countries.
The dates are flexible, with a minimum stay of just one week for most programs.
Even though you’re on an “individual” program, there are frequent opportunities to meet and hang-out with fellow teen volunteers working on other projects. And you always have the company of your host family and our local coordinator to help you with anything, from the moment they meet you at the airport.
Group Trips
Our “Service Learning Trips Abroad” take place in the summer. They have fixed dates and last for two weeks. You can join a group abroad or form a group at your school. These trips are usually led by Director Scott Burke. We can also help you create a Custom Group Trip. You can choose any one of our host countries, the type of volunteer work, and the dates (year-round). Only have one week? No problem! We can design a trip for your high school.
