The primary location for our volunteer programs in Guatemala is the city of Antigua.
Antigua is well-known for its Spanish colonial architecture, Spanish language schools, and as a base for touring the rest of Guatemala.
If you are looking to practice and improve your Spanish, you will
have plenty of opportunity to do so. You can also take one-on-one Spanish classes in Antigua, up to 20 hours per week.
Emails from volunteers in Guatemala (summer 2012):
"Hey Scott, the volcano was awesome, will post pics to your website after trip. Im loving everything and everywhere here. I'm fine, my host family is amazing and I do not want to leave. Saturday we go to Lake Atitlan and then home :(
With warm regards,
Marissa

Hi Scott,
I got home safely [to California] yesterday afternoon, didn't get a chance to check my email until now! It was a great trip and I wish I could stay longer in Antigua! All of the people I've met are so nice. Thank you for everything!
